"Over the years, the art of weaving and Persian carpet craftsmanship has dwindled. It has been my life's goal to bring this lost tradition back to the world through my new collection."

- Bahram Shabahang

The creation of fine Persian rugs is a very intricate and exacting process. Choosing the right wool for an artistic carpet is like selecting the right grape for a particularly fine wine. Each provides the base for and has tremendous impact upon their respective product. Just as the French cultivate vines in their efforts to produce the "perfect grape" for the "perfect Bordeaux" so, too, sheep are bred in Iran in order to create the "perfect wool" for the "perfect Bakhtiari".
